Over Head Travelling Cranes
The Over head travelling crane are often referred to as bridge cranes. This type of crane is most commonly used in workshops, warehouses, power plants and factories. Overhead traveling crane consists of hoist, girder, end carriages, rail, runway beam, electrical, panel and control system. If it uses one girder it is called a single girder overhead traveling crane and if it uses two girders it is called a double girder overhead traveling crane.
Single Girder
Single girder overhead traveling crane is suitable for lifting loads that are not too heavy. Typically used for capacities up to 12 tons with a maximum span of 30 meters. Normally safety clearances below ceilings are not required for single girder cranes within this load range. This allows the optimal use of existing space or can save additional building height costs.
Double Girder
Double girder overhead traveling crane are commonly used to lift very heavy loads. can be used to lift a load of 100 tons with a span of 50 meters. featuring the versatility needed for special requirements. For example, faster long travel speeds, maintenance platforms, crab units with walkways and additional hoists are all features that can be easily implemented.
Gantry & Semi Gantry Cranes
Gantry / Semi Gantry Crane is a lifting device that stands on the legs of the gantry. The girder construction is connected to the legs which are equipped with end carriages so that they can run on rails without additional structures such as runway beams and columns. This type of crane can be manufactured using double girder or single girder. A ladder with handrails connected to at least one leg is required to climb up to the top of the girder. In a semi gantry crane, only one side of the girder stands on the legs, while the other side runs on a runway beam attached to a building structure or column.
The double girder type can provide a higher lifting height than the single girder. Sometimes it is also used for indoor facilities although its main use is for outdoors. This type is widely used in all industry segments because it has various advantages such as affordable costs, easy maintenance and repairs, larger capacities and sizes as well as flexibility in making designs that can be tailored to the required specifications.
Jib Cranes
Jib Cranes
A jib crane is a type of crane that has a horizontal section called a jib or boom. The hoist is attached to the boom and can move along the boom. Jib cranes can be mounted to a wall or to a post attached to the floor. By using a jib crane we can transport material in a semicircular (180 degree) or single circle (360 degree) motion.
